For me, that story started with literature and translation. With a degree in Linguistics and Literature and a background in Translation, I spent years learning how to preserve meaning and read between the lines.

I brought those same principles to brand design to translate who you are into visual language that feels unmistakably you by preserving what’s essential, and transforming it into a visual representation.

It all begins with a story.

Learn How

Meet the Designer.

I start most mornings with coffee from my Bialetti moka pot—a habit from my time in Italy that stuck. My desk usually has fresh flowers, the more colorful the better, and I work to whimsical folk music from another era.

I'm based near Cologne, Germany, working alongside Anouk, my Eastern European Shepherd who enforces mandatory breaks. She's usually right—the best ideas come when I step away from the screen.

Weekends I'm at flea markets hunting vintage books and ephemera, or in the garden with dirt under my fingernails. I read constantly, listen to too many podcasts, and my go-to lunch is a simple salad bowl.

Hi, I’m Alex

… and I’m Anouk

Where The Magic Happens

My best thinking doesn't happen at my desk. It happens on walks with my dog, where the noise falls away and clarity emerges. That is the energy I bring to every project: spaciousness, reflection, and the kind of attention that sees what you mean, not just what you say.

My Philosophy

As an introvert, I have struggled with the gap between the private me and the public me—especially on social media, where it felt like I needed to be louder or bolder than I actually am.

So I kept thinking: there has to be another way. A way to be visible without performing. A way to stand out without shouting. A way to build a brand that feels true to who you actually are, not who you think you need to be online.
